    Yep.

    For the GameCube always buy offical Nintendo Memory Cards, and always buy offical Nintendo game pads.

    The saving are not worth it, as the drop in quality is too great.

    As for Super Monkey Ball... good luck getting Master Mode.

    Its always worth buying official gear, i made the mistake of getting 3rd party spare pads back in the days of my n64 and they were never as good
