I'm now completely re-addicted to Oddworld & X-Com![]()
Thank you Steam, for being another place for me to spend lots of moolah on games I'll play once and then forget about a week later![]()
Thank you Steam for letting me watch Empire Total War get patched as well as Mount and Blade trying to download.
Thank you BT for letting me have 512 kbps of blistering speed.
I think its Valve you want to thank.

I've finally gotten round to installing XP on my Aspire One, can anyone suggest any decent games on steam that will run on there? I'm thinking the original AvP (I've got the disk but its a pain to install via USB) but I'm not sure if it'll run smoothly.
They have X-Com on steam! It seems take-too have updated them as well to make them work on newer machines.... Oooo tempting. How much did they cost?

Thank you Steam for the great deals over Christmas and letting me reinstall everything again last week because it stopped working for absolutely no reason.
i think its back up at £6 - but you get all the series, including inteceptor and that awful fps thing!
but still, call it £3 a piece for ufo and tftd.
it runs in a virtual dos box, but works fine on W7 - just make sure you dont run it full screen - the graphics havent been updated at all

Plus its far from perfect.
I just bought Mount and Blade for £3 on steam!
I gotta say, I am loving it as well!!!
So thanks Steam from me too![]()
