Downloading now (1.4GB for PS3) Can't wait to play it, videos I've seen look ace!
I hear its 30mins timed demo but that its a pretty big section of the game.

Cool, will check it out over the weekend now that I'm allowed to switch my PS3 on again.
Its SO stupid, and the combat feels medieval. But my god is it fun!
Shoot one of the gas cannisters that flies up in the air, and then grapple on to it. It takes a bit of practice, but get it right and you'll go flying up in the air, it makes a cool escape![]()
I did it on my first try by mistake! Now I can't do it again easily!
Had a 5min blast on it (wife is now watching a baby programme) Parachited down to the petrol station, blew it up then had to come off it so I'll have another go tomorrow, looking very goo so far though!
Hated the first one but as its a free demo i may try it sometime this week
The demo is hilariously fun! So is the cutscene acting though![]()
Almost bought it until I realised there isn't really much plot/story.
It just seems like sandbox smashing the crap out of things for no real reason <cough> Assassins Creed </cough>
I really enjoyed the demo but certainly won't buy it (at least at full price)
Bad voice acting
No story
Fumbly controls
Poor Driving
shame![]()
I was thinking the same, maybe if it got heavily discounted it might be worth buying. I can see it getting tiresome running round blowing things up.
Nearly got the first one on Steam in the sale, but reviews weren't complimentary... sadly, looks like their issues with the first game are exactly the same issues that all of you have with the sequel.
Clearly haven't moved on much then
Pity, as it sounded like it had a lot of potential. Sounds quite Far Cry 2-esque to me.
I found the first to be far too big, pockets of action with no real sense of achieving anything, poor shooting mechanic, all the same as 2 I'm afraid.
The action IS good, just not enough to keep me playing until completion, it gets boring after a while. Shame as i REALLY wanted to love this game but I've played all I want to in the demo. FC2 would be a good example yes![]()
Same position as me, I hunted for Just Cause, found it for ~£7 and hovered over the Buy Now for ages while I read reviews and feedback.
I didn't like FC2 much either, it's very similar - wide map, lots of different routes/options, a lot of potential to be great but no real goal and very, very samey to the point where I just gave up and haven't even tried it since.
A 20% improvement on Just Cause, but only just. I felt like a cheap version of Spiderman, swinging around pointless helicopters.
FonZy = Senses not tingling
