So... Who's getting this game then?

I think it looks amazing so I just placed my pre-order for it on Game. The graphics look nice, it's a GFWL (so usually not many bugs and can use my controller if I like), and the story seems to be quite gripping. Can't wait .

There's a book? I might see if I can find that and give it a read.

    Re: Metro 2033 (PC & Xbox) 19-03-2010

Got my PC copy on release (well, day before but steam DRM wouldn't unlock to release day), i've ploughed through it and all in all it was ok. The best part of it for me was the actual tech, ramping up to DX11 on v.high gave an impressive display to say the least but Im a graphics whore.

Game has bags of atmosphere, and the dark corridors to go with it. Story and plot are ok I guess though fairly generic. The one thing that did bother me was that the shooting just didn't feel good, it plays a little loosely and weapons just dont seem to have the impact that you'd expect them to have.
What we share with everyone is glum, and dark...
