Farcry games saves?

Does anyone know where Farcry game saves are stored? Normally there a sperate file somewhere but i cant see it ?

I want to format and not lose my progress so far if i dont have to

You will find them in.
"Far Cry\Profiles\player\default\savegames"

Unelss you made another profile
if your unsure just back up everything from
"Far Cry\Profiles\player"
that will back up your saved games and user settings.

(always try testing it 1st)
