Oh dear, oh dear. Never really been that against previous DRM implementations (my personal experience has never been bad) but this is just very silly. I take it no-one who has a wireless connection will end up buying this - well, not without getting very frustrated...
Does seem to be the way large publishers are going though - not a good sign really...![]()
Muppets.
Pirates win again then?
Wow, that's one game I'll never be buying. Let's hope many others do the same. The current reviews on Amazon should help with that to some extent - I don't think I've ever seen any other product get such overwealmingly negative reviews.
I see that it's already been cracked. Great job EA, you've probably pushed people who would have bought game to download it instead, as opposed to just the people who download without ever buying.
Most DRM only makes ppl want to pirate(or buy on a console), ya'd think EA noticed that by now.
Having read the reviews I wasn't planning to get the game, but definitely not now!
I'd no idea EA were pulling an Ubisoft![]()
Did bad company 2 and mass effect sell bad on the pc as well as assasins creed 2 sell well? if it did then i can see in their stupid heads why they implemented this DRM.
There's nothing at play.com to say it requires permenent connection...
Seems there' s gonna be alot of unknowing customers.

Definitely off the list to buy then. My Sky connection is shaky at the best of times!
What is the justification for this measure? Surely if you've already validated it then it must be a legit copy, so even if your internet connection isn't 24/7, you should still be able to play it?
EA, you aren't doing the ProDRM camp any justice.....

Not good. They could have at least passed it off as some kind of persistent multiplayer game which happened to have a good storyline and you could play on your own (on a server).. but this is just ill thought out, and possibly technically incompetent.
