Retro Games You Are Currently Playing.

We need one of these threads.

I play them nearly everyday mind, but, at this moment of time, I am playing through CastleVania II on the NES, and I am very surprised by it, considering the hate it got from AVGN, I have to disagree with the guy on every single point he made in the video.

Probably play Secret of Mana again when i can be bothered to plug the Wii in.

Plus whatever other SNES gems i've got on there, i think Super Probotector (AKA Contra, god knows why they changed the name for the eurozone :/]) is on there too

edit: aah according to wiki it was because of zi germans licensing laws

edit2: Oh and MI3 of course, not long goes by without having to break that out for a quick session

Broken Sword (okay, so it's on my iDevice.. but it's ace, wish they'd put more old games on it).

I play several retro-style games too, but I don't suppose they count

None that old, but over the last few months I've been playing Destruction Derby 1, Driver 1, Theme Hospital, Theme Park, Monkey Island (first one)

Most of them for the second time as well.

Still need to finish Ultima Underworld 2, plus a number of Dreamcast games.. For *real* retro stuff, I fancy finishing Terminus on my MSX some time.

    *BREEEEEEATHES IN*

Well, in the last month, the ones I've played for more than just a few minutes are:

    - Micro Machines (Megadrive)
    - Lemmings (Master System, but have it on the Amiga too)
    - Super Mario 3 (NES)
    - Into the Eagles Nest (C64)
    - Rainbow Islands (Master System)
    - Asterix (Master System)
    - Apidya (Amiga)
    - Air Taxi (Amiga Shareware)
    - James Pond 2: Robocod (Master System)
    - Addams Family (Amiga)
    - Log!cal (Amiga)
    - Pipe Dream (NES)
    - Arkanoid (NES)

I also downloaded an Acorn Electron emulator yesterday for my wife (and people claim I'm not romantic!) so that she can play the version of Frogger (AKA Croaker) that she used to play as a kid on her dad's Electron

What makes it even better is that FishJnr loves the old games too
