    Monkey Island 1 & 2

I just finished firing up these old classics and must admit that they are still fantastic and frustrating as hell. completed both of them in a few days, most of it seems easy.. But then there is the odd little thing that keeps you awake at night thinking how the hell am I supposed to do THAT.. when all I have is these useless items.

This nearly ALWAYS means that you forgot to question somebody about one tiny little thing two hours ago.

    But overall... great games

pretty much all of the Lucasarts Point & Click titles were good. Sam & Max and Day of the Tentacle are particular favourites

Thankfully, the wonders of ScummVm mean I can play these classics on my GP32 handheld \o/

My 486 wasn't quite good enough to play Sam & Max so I never got round to playing it. I loved all the rest of them, all time classics the lot of them. I still remember my first Chron-O-John ride like it was yesterday....

Hands up all those who remember picking up the rubber chicken with the pulley in the middle and thinking WTF am I meant to do with that?
Now go away before I taunt you a second time.

I liked all the self lucas arts jokes in the second game.. Like Le Chuck turning out to be your brother then all the star wars dialogue. The indiana Jones move for swapping the books on the phatt island mayor etc.

Amazing games, never wanted to leave my life and jump into the screen so much in my whole existence!

Atmosphere, wit, challenge, story, even graphics for the time. Oh and the music, love the music - after finishing the first one I tried to find a way to get hold of the theme. I could loop it, turn it up, close my eyes and dream.

    Now that's a game!
