5 year old kid
Duron 1600 PC with Radeon 7000 64mb and 128DDr
Not a powerhouse PC by any means, so I'm not expecting anything recent to run well, but ok for older budget stuff.
What would you guys recommend to keep the kiddy interested ?

Tbh i'm sure he/she'd be pleased with quite few of the freeware games that you can get. I have a 7 year old cousin and all she wants to do when i have to watch her is use a typing program or a drawing program.

Download a demo of a game called Overball from Wild Tangent.
Its a brilliant game, nice music, and even pretty flowers.

The demo gives you several free plays, and its $19.99 for the full version (about £11)
Its simple enough for the young kids just to have a laugh on, and learn to use the mouse better, and deep enough for older gamers to have a proper game. Gets quite invovled towords the end of the game.
