Recently got an acer aspire one for college, really nice bit of kit but I wouldnt mind being able to find some games to play on my breaks etc.

You might be interested to read my review of my current laptop, with info on gaming on intel integrated graphics.
It is a slightly better chip than yours I think, but might give some ideas. See my sig.

I recently bought an Asus UL30 with the intergrated Intel GMA 4500MHD. It ran freelancer and evil genius with no problems so im now looking at trying Rome Total war hoping on low settings it might run and age of empires 2.

Naah, Steam do an XCOM complete package. Tried playing Interceptor last night and it's *not* manageable on a laptop (controls are a bit mad!) but Enemy Unknown and Terror From the Deep should be great...
