Does this seem stupidly cheap to anyone else?

Am thinking of getting one, trying to find a decent deal, came across this... slightly more than what I hoped to spend, but it's a very good deal in my eyes.

Anyone got any good reasons why I shouldn't buy it?

Hmm, not really worth the premium unless the less power consumption makes up for it in the long run...

I guess the next question would be, since it comes with a HDMI cable and a composite cable, would there be any way of using either of these (with converters if needed) to get it to output a display onto my monitor which only has a D-Sub input? It has a native resolution of 1440x900 if that makes any difference. I wouldn't be too bothered about HD gaming just yet, will wait until I can afford a bigger TV for that and just get one with a HDMI input.

I think it comes with a VGA output cable already.

Make sure you buy the official VGA cable though. The 3rd party ones are utter crap.

Great offer. I bought my Super Elite from Gamestation, to replace my Pro that stopped reading game discs (which I've since fixed).

When I bought it I traded in the Controller and game in the box (Forza 3). The guy opened the box and scanned them into the till and they became a discount. Sweet. £30 saving. Got my Super Elite for £190.

That is what I'm going to do with this offer if I go ahead with it. Will sell off all but FF, should get more for selling than by trading them in, surely? Also, have a wired controller already that I use for PC, could sell the extra wireless controller.

Probably looking at bring the price down by a good £50-60, maybe more, by doing that.

More often than not you get more value by trading than selling. For example you might trade a game in and £15 but if you sell it back to them they might only give you £10.
This is if you are doing it in store, and the guys there are cool about it.

It should also be a lot quieter, will find out at the weekend, friends gettintg a slim (think its this Friday). Current price on the slim is around £180.
