    Realtime Worlds goes into Administration

Sad time, Realtime Worlds have gone into administration.. shame! they have only just released All Points Bulletin, hopefully someone will buy them out and keep the mmo going, yet to play due to no mac support but would love ago

Re: Realtime Worlds goes into Administration

Was just about to post that.

It's not a massive surprise to be honest, they must've invested a lot in APB and I seriously doubt it lived up financially to their lofty expectations. Feel a bit sorry for them, APB was built on a good idea, but it's a tough market sometimes - if you release a subpar product nobody's going to catch you at the end.

Wonder what this means for current subscribers... curtains I suspect.

Re: Realtime Worlds goes into Administration

They tried to give some assurances that APB would be unaffected but how many times have we seen a developer go bust and their online games collapse very soon after.

Could have been a very different story if they had gone straight onto Crackdown 2 instead.
