I only want the tray bezel and button though to replace the chrome one that i have.

Modelling paint was my first port of call.

Namely clear orange, but i couldn't achieve a smooth covering.

I want it to be chrome shiny, but orange, just like the halo version (if you know what i mean)

Would powder coat work? Plenty of finishing places around, drop in and ask them for an cheap job
