    Cheap, Good PC Games

As people have been asking recently for game suggestions, I thought I'd create a list of recent (and older) titles that are good games, and relatively cheap currently. Feel free to make suggestions and I'll add them to this list so that people can just look at here. Feel free to suggest descriptions too. Any suggestions, please give links to the cheapest source. Just makes adding them a lot easier.

I'll add some games in that I've not played but that are fairly cheap too/know are decent/plan to get myself

    FPS
Battlefield: Bad Company 2 -£12.99 - Not yet got it, plan to, all my friends have said it's good and BF2 was good as well.
The Orange Box - £13.65 Need I say more?
Fear 2: Project Origin - £4.98Played the demo and was alright, not my type of game though. Cheap though.
Crysis - £4.95 - Good storyline imo, fun game, lots of big aliens.
Crysis warhead - £4.95 Like Crysis but with more explosions and better optimised engine.
    Bioshock - £7.99
Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising - £2.99 Never played it but it's a recent, well known title for £2.99
Necrovision - £4.99 Heard good things about it, too much of a wuss to play it.
S.T.A.L.K.E.R Clear Sky - £3.84 Good game, very indepth, great graphics, cheap.
Metro 2033 - £10.85 + Free copy of Red Faction - Guerilla when ordered from Shopto
    Fallout 3 GOTY- £10.88
    Left for Dead 2 - £12.00
    F.E.A.R (1st one) - £6.99

    RTS
    Anno 1404 - £3.99
    - Planning on getting this soon too, been playing 1503 and remember it well. Not sure how well recieved this was though.
Dawn of War 2 + Chaos Rising £13.96 Solid RTS done well again from Relic, very successful franchise
    Dawn of War 2 Standalone - £9.59
Company of Heroes Anthology - £7.94 If you like RTS you'll like this. Just buy it.
Empire: Total War - £14.99Great game, very addictive campaign/freeplay.
Napoleon Total War - £12.93 What I assume is a standalone expansion to E:TW, but just done a bit better and with more French.
Supreme Commander /Supreme Commander: Forged Alliance Gold Edition - £6.99
C+C Red Alert 3 - £3.59 Not sure how well recieved this one was, but at £3 you can't complain.
Sins of a Solar Empire - Trinity Editiomn - £8.95

    RPG
Mass Effect - £3.35 Not played it, got good reviews, is also very cheap for a recent game.
    Mass Effect 2 - £14.99
Assassins Creed - £5 Still a fun game, a bit repetitive at parts but a classic none the less.
Assassins Creed 2 - £14 Improvement on the original, good variety of things to do, very good game.
    Dead Space - £4.14
Mount& Blade - £4.99 Played the demo and that was good, but I never really got into the whole RPG scene. Lots of things to do, well worth a go.
    Morrowind GOTY £5.49
    Torchlight £10.55
    Oblivion GOTY £18.99
    Neverwinter Nights Deluxe Edition £4.41
    Thief: Complete Collection - £5.99
    Borderlands - £14.25
The Witcher: Enhanced Edition - £9.99
    The Witcher Standard - £6.98
    Gothic 3 - £6.99

    Racing
GRID - £5.21 Very fun, arcade style racing game. Much fun can be had with the online multiplayer destruction derby
    Dirt 2 -£7.31
Need For Speed: Shift - £13.10

    Steam:
Sega Megadrive Collection - £10.99 (Or £1.99 each)
SEGA Megadrive Classics Pack 2 -£10.99

    Current Steam Offers/Other Specials:
Monday: Currently Force unleashed for £5. Lucas arts week so is changing daily.
Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic £1.74 atm.

Added. I'm exhausted Time to get some food I think. Any of the ones I've put too bad to be included?

If this thread gets a decent amount of interest/suggestions would it be worth sticking it?

In RPGs, you really must have

Neverwinter Nights Deluxe Edition - £9.99 - original Neverwinter Nights plus both expansions - one of the longest lived RPGs with huge amounts of community created content at http://nwvault.ign.com and developer-supported community at http://nwn.bioware.com

    Re: Cheap, Good PC Games

On Steam at the minute you can get the Sega Megadrive collection for £10.99 which includes :

    Space Harrier 2
    Shadow Dancer
    Vectorman
    Shinobi 3
    Gain Ground
    Ecco the Dolphin
    Golden Axe
    Comix Zone
    Altered Beast
    Crackdown

Or you could simply buy the odd one for £1.99 a piece. Some great games in that collection if you like the older retro stuff and the price is fantastic.

Both added, forgot about fallout 3

Any suggestions for Co-op based games? Or ones that are decent for it. Might add that as a seperate catagory.
