Bobby claims that the total value that he "cashed in" his reputation for is about 850 billion ISK. As EVE allows its players to buy game time (known as Pilot License EXtensions, or PLEX) with its virtual currency, it's possible to convert that to a real figure. One 60-day PLEX costs 35 euros, which is about £30, to buy from EVE's website.
In-game, current market prices indicate that 30-day time PLEXes are being sold for about 300 million ISK. With Bobby's earnings of 850 billion ISK, he could therefore buy about 2833 months worth of gameplay, which would last about 236 years and cost a record-breaking £42,480 to buy, making this one of the largest heists ever conducted in an online game.
