    Two Worlds 2?

Anyone had a look in at this? After the original being a complete disaster(i bought it in the steam sale with a mate, we were peed off but a few quid wasnt to harsh) it looks as if this game could really be a great rpg. I saw i had £10 credit at greenman gaming from when they did those opening offers with free games and then trade them in later so it caught my eye at £15! Been looking today and im impressed by the level of quality and how they have managed to sort themselves out.

Anyone else looking at getting this? It also has multiplayer again so maybe that works well this time, was a very good bonus over say oblivion which was great but I personally wanted to play with mates.

    Re: Two Worlds 2?

Annoyingly the release date seems all over the place with numerous places stating different dates, i know that america are getting it in Jan 11 but europe is meant to get it this year and that date was october but apparently has been pushed back to november due to them unable to product enough copies in time.

Worse is that greenman gaming website said it was out today, it changed from pre-order to buy now and it has the option to download. Been trying all day and everytime i click download their client (capsule) just crashes , i guess they dont have it yet LOL.

    Re: Two Worlds 2?

Loved the first game after the first hour or so. Crappy voice acting and some unfinished bits but it was a lot of fun.
I read that the UK & US versions are deferred until January but Europe gets it this year. Some people are hoping that the European version is multi-language so they can it earlier on import.

I am debating whether to get Gothic 4 or Two Worlds 2.

what are others going for if they could only get one or the other?

Play the demo of Gothic 4, and pick up Two Worlds for a few quid. Then you'll be better placed to decide. Out of the two, I would possibly go for Two Worlds 2 - Gothic 4 is good, but doesn't really do much for me - it doesn't have the atmosphere of Gothic, or the scope of Gothic 3. TW2 is just going to be a cheesy hack and slash, but probably a more enjoyable one than Gothic 4.

    Re: Two Worlds 2?

I played the demo for Gothic 4... was impressed but at the same time felt it was really unfinished, maybe they will fix this in later patches but if it comes on sale i may nab it later next year.

As for two worlds, i think its hard to even relate it to two worlds 2... TW was dire and i mean utter tripe, laggy poor animations (PS1 games look better and play better, honest) and the multiplayer didn't work at all . Two worlds 2 on the other hand uses a totally new engine, graphics and animations drastically improved to levels that are well above average and the multiplayer is said to be improved and working but we shall see!.

Just think of oblivion with very in depth alchemy, better skills and classes (well you branch into anything) with improved graphics a different story and multiplayer with co-op+ 8 player pvp (raids etc). Very hopefully.

Greenman gaming gave me a refund, apologized that their site was wrong and that the release date isn't confirmed. It should be out Jan for england where as the rest of europe gets it 9th of november, why oh why did south peak get the rights to the uk we would have got it soon else!.
