Christmas is almost upon us... and I'm still catching up with the summer!

Anyone else in the same boat? I remember so many long summers when I was younger waiting for christmas to near and publishers to start releasing some games so I could put my copy of Body Harvest or whatever had kept me going through the summer holidays to one side, ready for something new and excting. Now I almost wish they'd stop!

I'm still only about three hours into Mass Effect 2, Limbo sits unfinished and I've only just got through Red Dead and God of War 3 much to my shame. Fallout New Vegas, Final Fantasy and Metro 2033 still sit on the shelf in their shrink wrap cocoons waiting for a day I fear may never come and I don't know if I'm even going to buy the latest Assassins Creed, or it may be destined to become an ornament for my bookshelves and nothing more

Ahh the good old holiday rush!

Similar here. The Steam winter sale is no doubt on the way and I've still got 7 games I've bought on steam sales that I want to play but haven't got round to! Plus I've got BFBC2:Vietnam coming soon on preorder.

    I used to play BF3, Battlefield BC2, BF4 and TF2

I'm the same got MW1 ages ago and have since been side tracked, I think I only got through the first couple of levels.

I've still got quite few games to start and a couple I'm close to completing but not gotten round to.

I'm about to start S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Picked it up on steam a couple of weeks back for cheap and still haven't done much with it.

I've not yet got MW2 yet either as I'm waiting for a cheap price on steam. After COD Black Ops has been out a while I'm sure MW2 will get cheaper.

Odd thing is I've already got Black Ops, work that out lol! In fact I was hoping to get MW2 for Christmas and then after that I didn't have the money cos of Christmas draining my funds, then after that I wanted BFBC2 more.

The CoD's seem to hold their value pretty well it seems, £25 for World at War on Steam.

Comforting to know I'm not alone in this gents! You know what I'm worst for? Xbox Live Arcade games... they seem to multiply overnight.. specifically nights when I put the 360 on after going to the pub

Perfect Dark, Monkey Island, Plants vs Zombies, Banjo Kazooie and Limbo are all unfinished, infact the last one I remember getting all the way through was Braid and I'm fairly sure dinosaurs were still around registering for their pensions at that point...

Secretly I find myself wishing for another GT5 delay.. just so I stand a chance of catching up!

Re: Christmas is almost upon us... and I'm still catching up with the summer!

I was planning on buying MW2 with the arrival of Black Ops when the local game store tries to dump it's stock (I picked up MW1 for £10 and World at War for £10, along with various other nice deals).

I've since been sidetracked by EVE Online and am sinking back into the MMO worlds... I might take a detour out and grab Assasin's Creed 2, but that 'permament internet' requirement is still annoying, as my internet tends to object if I expect it to work 24/7... Mobile Broadband for you I guess.

I still have to pick up 'The Witcher' at some point.. which I said I'd buy about 2 years ago Life just kind of got in the way... I wait for these games to drop hugely in price..

It's £18 for the hardened edition on the 360/ps3 from Zavvi, but I'd only play it single player and £2/hour is a bit expensive for me for a short campaign

I've got 2 reviews I need to write, and about 10 more that I want to write.

Then there's about 10 games I want to complete, and about 5 games I want to buy.

    In short, I give up.
