    Help!!

Built my first ever pc, went well no issues there, loaded windows 7 on (64bit)

everythings ok, but I cant play any games online. It just wont find any servers for black ops / mw2 / hawx 2 etc. doesnt matter which game. Have I missed something or done something wrong? disabled firewall and deleted anti virus software to see if it was them but nope.

Computer goes on line and downloads etc fine just can play any online games which was the full reason of building it.

    Re: Help!!

First try disabling windows firewall just as a test,

Go to control panel then system and security, then click on firewall and on the right menu there is an option to turn it on and off, turn it off then test a game, if it now works just re enable the firwall and click allow a program or feature through windows firewall,

If that does not fix it do you have any antivirus stuff installed then again check if that has one as well, if your router is the same as before then i doubt it would be that if it was working with gaming on another pc before, if this is the first time gaming on that connection with a pc it might require configuring as well,

those are the easiest things to check at this stage.

Failing that, log into your router and check upnp is enabled.
