    Question Assassin's Creed 2 & Brotherhood

Thinking about getting Assassin's Creed Brotherhood, but I havnt played the 2nd one yet.

Will I miss much if I skip number 2, or is it worth getting before Brotherhood?

Although I liked the first game, I would never play it again, the missions were too repetitive. Is the same true of 2 and Brotherhood?

    Cheers,

From the reviews, mainly from Gametrailers. Brotherhood > AC2 > AC1. Brotherhood has a recap of what happened in AC 1 & 2.

Thanks, I'll try and take a peak at the vids in the next couple of days.

As it happens, I just spotted the PC version of Brotherhood is not out til next year and number 2 is going for £9.99.

That is correct, but be aware that AC2 & maybe AC Brotherhood for PC has a DRM protection which requires you to be connect to the Internet at all times. If you're in a middle of the game and you net goes down, the game will kick you out of itself till your net connection is active.

Thanks! after a bit of further research apparently there is an official and unofficial "patch".
In reality im 99/100 times online but I can imagine even if i am online there could be random kick outs. I'll be on here to report my findings though.

Grab AC2 - it's a very good game (albeit with hideous copy protection on the PC) and can be had cheaply.

    Re: Assassin's Creed 2 & Brotherhood

I finished AC1 and was pretty bored by the end, but with AC2 i'm on the last city venice and i've loved every minute of it. I would def go through AC2 before brotherhood because the story does carry on. And this is on PS3 so dont have to worry about DRM.
