Which game would you say was your worst waste of money ever. Apologies if i'm repeating threads here.

My personal worst was Master of Orion 3 - Complete pile of steaming horse turd

I have to say that I think that I chose my games pretty well - I always read plenty of reviews, try the demo if there's one available, ask everyone who's got it, etc etc. That way, most of the time I buy a pretty good game.

The only game I can think of right now would be Settlers IV, but I don't really regret it since I got a full refund from Game anyway.

Tend to steer clear of any game based on a film unless it gets Majorly good reviews.

Technodream. No wonder 4D dropped it. Rubbish follow-up to one of my all-time faves, Nevryon.

I can think of two. The original Streetfighter (Amiga), and no, I dont mean Street Fighter 2, I mean the original scrolling beat-em up, Streetfighter - complete poop but it did come with a semi-cool Ken pin-badge.

X-Men (Mega-drive) - compared to Clone Wars, it was the most disgustingly naff game I've played. Actually...compared to anything!

Oh, and just to get cheeky, HL - thought it was quite boring - good job it was my brother's money really - I mean I got more gameplay out of 'Little Puff in Dragon Land', seriously, I actually came back to complete that one.

Tomb Raider Angel of Darkness.... SOOOOOO irritating!!! ARGH!!! (Makes me angry just thinking about it!!)
I have loved all the other Tomb Raider games on PS1 and was really excited when this one came out on PS2 but... I tell you... I have never sworn so much in my life!!!!!
It's PANTS imho! ....I sold it before finishing to avaid me pulling any more hair out.

(Prince of Persia was my next purchase and that is superb What a difference. It's what Tomb Raider should have been)

I've had a lot of sobering thoughts in my time.... It was them that started me drinking.

Horizons, recent(ish) MMORPG and I played it all of once - the game performed very poorly and looked like it should have been out about 10 years ago.

Other than Spellforce, this is the only game I bought "blind" - Spellforce was completely at the other end of the spectrum and is very cool.

Red faction 2(ps2) - total carp. I loved the original game (ps2) completed it about 20 times- first game i got with the system. Will have to get it for pc actually. Red faction 2 was such a dissapointment- i thought it would be a continuation of the mars story
