    Assassin's Creed - PC or PS3

I have the above on PC but have not been able to get into it, probably because I keep forgetting what each key does.
Is it a better game on console?
I can probably pick up the original for not very much on PS3, and I'd quite like to get into it.

Or should I persevere with the PC version?
I bought it on Steam so don't think I can sell it on. But then again, it was cheap in last year's New Year sale...

    Re: Assassin's Creed - PC or PS3

I can get AC for £9.99 from Amazon or Play.com, on platinum.

Would a £5 pad be any good?

    Re: Assassin's Creed - PC or PS3

I'm sure if you have a ps3 pad that you can connect it to your pc aswell, but I forgot where I got the drivers from

You will need to have a wired connection, it cannot do wireless AFAIK

If you previously have a Ps2 controller i would reconmend getting a ps2 usb adaptor from the bay, works very well.

Beware the DRM in the PC version of AC2, if you want to carry on with the series

I think it can...and im using my PS3 pad on wired atm as of last night.

Here's the link for the software/drivers.

    http://www.hardcoreware.net/how-to-p...ndows-7-vista/

Assuming your on win7, ive not looked but it if works on 64bit im sure it will work on 32bit.

EDIT : 32bit drivers are there too.

yes, you can use the ps3 pad wireless aswell, it's bluetooth but tbh for a pad it is a waste of time with all the effort that has to go into getting the thing to work on bluetooth

    Re: Assassin's Creed - PC or PS3

I am a PC gamer, and I absolutely hate playing fps on my PS3, but for games like GTA and AC, i find controller to be so much more fun. I'd probably prefer to play it on my pc with a pad, but I find it easier just to buy it for my PS3, also keeps the dust off the console
