    WoW Turning Lag

Hey guys, not 100% sure that this is in the correct place...

I play wow, everything set to ultra, and it sits at 100fps if I move straight forward/backward or stand still, but as soon as I turn sideways...problems start

It drops down to about 5fps then up to 100fps again...

Could it be that I installed it on windows xp then just cut and paste it into windows 7 64 bit?

It runs and that is the only issue

Nope, I have moved my WoW installation from and to a few different machines, running XP, Vista and Win7.

I'd be tempted to look at graphics card/drivers - what card do you have, and which drivers are you running?

Its the ASUS HD6850 clocked at:

    Vcore: 1.15
    Engine: 790
    Memory: 4000

If that makes sense? Driver is version 8.782.0.0

Get all the latest drivers for your system.

It may be worthwhile doing a repair on your Wow installation also. Theres a repair exe file in your installation directory

    Re: WoW Turning Lag

As I suggested in the other thread, there could be some throttling going on. A common reason for this might be overheating, although you implied that you are basically running as intended.
The other possible cause could be that for brief moments (ie under heavy load) the PSU isn't supplying components with enough juice (I'm not an expert on issues such as 12v rails etc).
    What PSU do you have?

Oops, just a little too late.
    Well done for sorting it.
