Battlefield 3 ?

Definitely that! I think BF3 could well be the game I play the most in 2011 depending on when it actually comes out.

Also looking forward to Homefront (maybe) and Rage (quite likely) if it comes out in 2011.

I think we are due another Starwars Battlefront game as well? (can't look here am at work) There is also another Ghost Reacon game coming, and I did hear something about Farcry 3 a while back aswell.

And maybe this time Rockstar Games will actually bother with porting the game over to PC properly.

A shame they didn't even bother porting Red Dead Redemption over to the PC...had to make do with playing it on PS3.

Yes! nice optimised port this time please rockstar! Multiplayer is still a huge amount of fun on GTA4 though, so long as you don't end up on a server full of insane modders and immediately get killed by all the cars raining down from the sky! Last time I played I spawned on a main street and a tidal wave of cars, phone boxes and all kinds of other rubbish came careering down the road and I was taken out immediately... was quite funny though.

I know the posts here aren't entirely representative, but does anyone else think its interesting that only one person has mentioned Duke Nukem so far? This isn't a comment on how good or bad the game could be, but simply after so long, and now the game actually coming out, you'd think the hype and expectation would be very high.

There's quite a few I'm looking forward to this year, but the only ones I'm dead set on are The Witcher 2, TESV: Skyrim, Battlefield 3 and Guild Wars 2. The rest are review dependent or games that I'll pick up on Xbox (Bulletstorm, Mass Effect 3).

tbh im slightly concerned with duke nukem
there are some people from original team working on it as far as i know however one cant help but wonder how much it will be diluted from its original - money is money and one can't blame developers for trying to cash in on the name but will the final product be comparable to the original ? i do doubt it simply due to the changed gaming demographic

I'm looking forward to The Last Guardian the most, and will probably get it on release (which is something of a rarity for me).
I'm also excited for Duke Nukem Forever, Marvel vs. Capcom 3, King of Fighters XIII (console) and Portal 2.
Professor Layton vs. Phoenix Wright will also make it very hard for me to resist a 3DS if they manage to release/localise it this year...

Can't believe no one is excited about SWTOR ok sure, its an mmo, but it's made by Bioware and is probably the most expensive game ever made. Imagine a mass effect that you can play with your friends and never ends :O
