    Crysis 2

    Last I saw Crysis 2 due for release March 2011. Has anyone seen any solid news on this?

    Crysis 1 was awful, hopefully they'll move out of the jungle, it's meant to be in the city right?

    Re: Crysis 2

    i thought crysis 1 was excellent! Great graphics and the ability to just run around and just pummel bases was great fun . I also enjoyed the story, hopefully its as good (or better!) in number 2 .

    Re: Crysis 2

    I loved Crysis, mind you, there was a lot of FarCry in that game. (which I also loved).

    Can't wait for crysis 2, as long as its not like farcry 2.

    Re: Crysis 2

    i thought Crysis looked awesome and was a good game but story wise it felt like a huge chunk was missing from the game Something just wasnt quite right and if it hadnt looked as awesome as it did it would have been mediocre at best.

    Re: Crysis 2

    I liked farcry 2, crysis 1 and crysis: warhead but i didn't like the original farcry. Stupid monsters!

    Definitely looking forward to this, not really enough to put in a pre-order but i don't think it will take me long from release to buy it... then upgrade my computer so i can play it

    Re: Crysis 2

    If you have a 360 give the demo a whirl?
    Kalniel: "Nice review Tarinder - would it be possible to get a picture of the case when the components are installed (with the side off obviously)?"
    CAT-THE-FIFTH: "The Antec 300 is a case which has an understated and clean appearance which many people like. Not everyone is into e-peen looking computers which look like a cross between the imagination of a hyperactive 10 year old and a Frog."
    TKPeters: "Off to AVForum better Deal - £20+Vat for Free Shipping @ Scan"
    for all intents it seems to be the same card minus some gays name on it and a shielded cover ? with OEM added to it - GoNz0.

    That would be because Crytek developed FarCry but then lost the name FarCry.

    FarCry 2 was complete and utter rubbish. The graphics were good but the game play was bobbins. What was that all that cr@p about having to go in a hut and sleep about? And you'd clear a village of rebels and go back 30 seconds later and they were all there again, same blokes in the same positions.

    Crysis 2 however, promises to be excellent, although I'll miss the Jungle.

    According to Play, Crysis 2 due 25th March.

    Post Re: Crysis 2

    I stumbled across this article today purporting to be the minimum spec for Crysis 2

    www .gamersmint. com/crysis-2-minimum-system-requirements-revealed/ <-- remove the spaces around .gamersmint. . 5 post limit before I'm allowed to post URLs .

    * Intel Core 2 Duo or AMD Athlon 64 X2 2GHz or better
    * Nvidia 8800 GT or higher
    * 2 GB RAM
    * Windows XP/Vista/7
    * 9 GB free Hard Disk Space
    * Internet Connection

    I hope that Internet connection is just for multiplayer and not some draconian DRM scheme. Also for a multiplatform title an 8800gt seems a little high for minimum graphics, I suspect with a few settings turned down it'll run on less.
