Never thought I'd see this come out before Black Mesa. :( But still, this game has been forever in the making!
Need to wait a little longer for those of us in Europe, 3rd States, 6th WorldWide, I am sure 3 days won\'t make to much of a difference in the grand scheme of things xD
The non-delivery of this game is one of the great memes of my youth, still going strong all these years later.
Makes me quite nostalgic.
Ah - but the hype, the teasers, the screenshots have never stopped !
Speaking of nostalgia - I remember the hype and then joy of playing the first Duke Nukem 3D. 1996 I think.
Yup - Laser mines ! Hookers !
I remember messing up my mates computer while trying to start it in DOS, aah the good old days!
Although I will admit I don't think I've ever completed it, didn't grab my attention past the strip club section ;)
I like the tags they've given it.... "pigs flying, hell freezing over"....
Will it be on PC only or on Xbox / PS3 also?
Ben
I will only beileve this happens once I see it done and dusted! It must be one hell of a game to be in production for so loooooooong. Hope it will be worth the wait..

If it ever does get released, I am willing to bet it will be crap.
Finally, all it takes is a decent developer! Way to go Gearbox, just for that going to reinstall my Brothers in Arms games to salute thee!!!
Roll on Duke and maybe the possibility of another Borderlands game next!
Been playing the old version and it's still great fun..more playable than a lot of newer games..looking forward to seeing how this one measures up.
Just spotted this via Guru3D, emphasis added:
Sweet! :rockon:Quote:
Clever, 2K Games confirmed today on their Duke Nukem Forever forums that the PC version of the long-awaited shooter will be fully-integrated with Steamworks for DRM and online play.
"Hey guys, I've been fielding many inquiries about whether or not Duke Nukem Forever is going to be on Steam and today I'm happy to clear up any outstanding rumors and questions in your mind by saying: Yes, DNF *is* using Steamworks and only Steamworks for both the single player and multiplayer components of the game. Let me know if you have any other questions about this - and stay tuned - we're keeping track of a bunch of questions you have been asking and as they are finalized, I'll be posting more about them here.
