can't really understand how the nylon cord could have got cut. Unless maybe wearing the wiimote on the same wrist as a metal bracelet/strap?
your not suggesting SABOTAGE are you?

I should have sued!
The most likely source of accidents will probably be where people forget to pull the strap tight enough around their wrist and the wiimote will come flying off - I noticed lots of loose straps at the wii show, including my son, who got asked to tighten his up by me during our boxing bout - I only wanted a virtual black eye.
Great stuff. Perhaps post gaming related items in the gaming forum though? Many thanks.
I'll shift it over.
nooooOOOoooo, telly destruction appeals to a wider audience!

in the words of good ole Norm Abram - "don't forget to wear safety glasses"
Wicked look at the crack in tv... it just shows the immense power of the Wii!
That thread looks like it's been cut, and anyway, a nylon thread is pretty impossible to break like that, it would've had to have been moving at a very high speed for that to happen, you'd need alot of force to snap a cord even that thin, and the Wii mote can't be that heavy.
