I think it looks terrible - everythings blurry and the textures are crap. Much tweaking for me before I play - in the meantime i've got AC:B to finish..

I want this, but never get time now to play games at home I've put in a request for a new work laptop - maybe I be naughty and install this on there for extra activity time? Hopefully it will run it.

no DX11... what the FECK! I cant believe they would do this, even Nvidia confirmed that dx 11 would be patched in at a later date which i bet is pretty solid information, either crytek has completely been infected by console profits or they are just being misquoted etc.

EA has come out saying DX11 patch was never confirmed, they stopped short last night saying there isn't going to be DX11, it come a few patches down the line. We will have to wait and see. However, the single player campaign is a decent game, multiplayer, I am still finding it lacking with the whole run and gun style like many FPS games these days.

TBH,it looks like it would have been better for Crytek to delay the PC version of the game.

Well, since the patch the other day whenever there is an explosion from a grenade, rocket launcher or whatever that goes off near me the whole screen goes black for a short period of time. Way to go Crytek, think I will omit getting their games the way they have gone on with this. All over the place on the net there are similar things being said in threads like this.

Another thing I have noticed since the patch also is that at times when I am using stealth the enemies can still see me and launch an all out attack. Currently on the Semper Fi bit, had to battle my way through the streets after getting swamped by aliens, just after where you leave the first team you meet up with in the building. It got pretty annoying quickly as literally once it kicked off the aliens swarmed me in the first area, constantly jumping in and past me attacking then jumping about the area so they were virtually impossible to hit.
