    Re: LA Noire - GOTY?

I'm about 60% of the way through, for the most part I'm enjoying it but the missions do get a little irritating, there doesn't seem to be too much variation and I've found it quite irritating that you can effectively fail a mission and still continue through the story. It's still very good but I can't see me playing this again after I've finished it, much like Portal, I feel it's an experience rather than a game in the traditional sense.

And got the Cop-who-can-read-minds from Heroes! 'Mat' I think. Yes, him; he's in this game.

    Greg Grunberg, I believe.

    Re: LA Noire - GOTY?

I would not say its GOTY, but I enjoyed it never the less. Its a bit like the first Assassins Creed. Great art/idea but the missions get repetitive. Go to crime scene, go through the victims belongings, go to bar, chase guy... I know what they were trying to do in the homocide desk with regards to the 'big finale' of that story line but it just did not work for me.
