OK, I can just see my entries there from achievements, nothing about used tickets still giving you entries?
Basically, I have 10 tickets from 10 achievements giving me 10 entries. If I buy Alien Breed 2 for 3 tickets, I will have 7 tickets left, but will that drop my entries to 7 or will it remain at 10 because I have 10 achievements?
noooooo
I have done it now
My life is over
I have bought.........
Football Manager 2011 - I lost my teens to Champ Manager, I told myself no. But you never get 100% clean, your always a user, I was living each day as it came, thinking ahead, thinking about how I can stay away, not think about who is on a free at the end of the season, or why my new £25 million player is a turd, but now I have relapsed.
I will see you all again, some day.

I also bought both the bioshock games at that price it was silly not to buy them.

Depends how you want to play. A lot of people just do the big club thing - i.e. getting Man Utd, Chelsea or Barcelona and buying up all the talented youth players (whether that's because they know they're good from outside the game or because they read a guide online).
I play with much smaller clubs and try to grow them, often in a nation whose leagues I know very little about. In that sense, I have no idea about the footballers and clubs, but I still do okay! The game is definitely designed with that in mind.
It's quite easy to play for a novice now, with tactics pre-designed, assistant manager available to pick them team/arrange friendlies/go to press conferences, and scouts available to recommend suitable new purchases.
I never start with a club
I always start with no club nd wait for one to come up, apply for the job etc. I am with Reading at the moment, I have 86K to spend and I can go up to £1,600 a week in wages!! WOW!

I do rather like the "Steam Summer Camp", a rather nicely done bit of marketing. To win the prices you need to complete things in the games that are on offer. Or do a bit of marketing for Steam. The more you do the more little freebes you get, and the more chance of winning the big prices of your wish list. Rather neat really...
The saying hello to a friend one is very strange as its any comment you make now will look like it has been done just for the steam summer camp.... Anyone want to be my friend!

First game to come along thats tempted me is two worlds 2, either got the rest or don't really fancy them, anyone played it?
Steam is slowly draining my wallet recently.. They've had offers on crysis both bioshocks, frozen synapse and star ruler.
I highly recommend star ruler if you like your 4x games! its the most challenging game ive played in a long time and incredibly addictive, think ogame with things to actually see and do!
come on fallout 3 GOTY though that must go on offer soon!
Indeed. It's why I said it was a shame it required Steam, because for a variety of reasons, Steam is not for me, and the lack of a net connection is just one of the more immediate and pragmatic ones. It's my choice to do it that way certainly, but the upside is considerably enhanced security (really only subject to physical security issues, like burglary), and the downside is net access has to be from other machines.
Of course, it also means that others using those machines use them for what they're supposed to be used for, not for internet activity, dodgy or otherwise.
The downside includes ... no Steam. Oh well.
Steam does seem to be quite effective as a platform for "collectors" of games, as well for those who play it. I do with I could put my old licence keys into steam, however reselling back catalogue to gamers seems to be part of the business model. Looking at other peoples game collections of 100+ I feel positively the poor relation by only having 16. I would like to say atleast I have played most of the ones I own but I haven't I paid full retail for fallout New Las Vagas and have logged less than an hour on it... well that is value for money (one of the two games that forced me to get Steam... that and CIV5 ) ! While I have slipped so don't takes Saracens hard line, I have decided that the maximum I am willing to play on any game through Steam is 10 pounds (preferably less than 5), as at that level is Steam goes away tomorrow, I will be upset to lose the games but not devastated. However the way games prices drop so fast I cannot really justify full retail price for any game, just looking at Portal 2, it is now down to 20 quid in the sale, for an extra 5 quid you can get the rest of the valve back catalogue as well! Steam is definitely the bargain bucket for me.
