Very nice price for Trine, although a lot of these sales seem to be mimicking the last christmas deals.

I just picked up a copy of Trine, I guess they are selling cheap to get people sucked in as Trine 2 should be out soon. I can't decide if I want to pay 25 quid for all the Valve stuff, seeing as the only things I have of valves were freebees its good value to me.

if you enjoy the freebies you've played and have the cash the valve pack is excellent value you would spend more getting just getting l4d2 and portal 2 on their own.

Portal 2 can be picked up for £12 these days and left 4 dead 2 usually drops below £5 in the sales

The Valve Pack is amazingly good money. It has Portal 2 in it! You know the game that was literally released like a month or two ago. I bought it for the PS3 for 23 quid. Seriously good value for money.

Re: Steam Summer Sale is on!

monday night combat is really good actually - bit rough around the edges in the menus but the game itself is a lot of fun.

reverted to default when i dont really know what im doing - kill as many enemies as you can, let the other people work the robots and turrets and kill the core and whatever.

edit: oh god time has just melted away tonight, didnt think it was this late

Re: Steam Summer Sale is on!

I am also a monday night combat fan (172 hours oh dear), its a game in the same style as TF2 (uses the same engine), well worth it for a couple of quid (£2.49 on the sale today). I just got my Bayheimer acheivement. BTW who do I speak to about getting on to the Hexus steam group? What I like about MNC is all the buffs are in the one match, so you have to race to upgrade as a result apart from ability, everyone starts the game equal.

I got a 3 day guest pass for MNC - if anyone wants it PM me their Steam email address and I'll send it across. Advance warning - leaving the flat at 6.30 and likely won't be home again until after the offers change.

I stand corrected, what do they both use then? I believe MNC puts up a banner about Unreal II.

    Yes I did thanks.

Everyone should go buy Monday Night Combat so if I ever go to a Lan I have some hope of playing something that I might be good at! Last night when I was playing it someone thought I was a "hacker" called me out 6 times, because they were an assassin and didn't realise I can HEAR the cloak (also I know how to use your cash to upgrade), so a a gunner I jump and slam just before they hit me, as its area damage I don't even need to know where they are. After that I Jump into the air and gun them to death as they are stunned, though normally I flatjack or ring them out... !
