Does look like a sweet game. Been watching quite alot of previews of it, kinda looks like commandos in some parts, like stealing ships and stuff and night movement but in other parts it just looks like plain fun (with all the tanks and the like)
Gonna play the demo pretty soon (just managed to get it as i was leaving for hols!)

Oh my gosh, played the demo and its frikin ace, you can destroy virtually everything... buildings crumble around tank shells and tanks tracks come off if you keep grenading the side of a tank... units shout at each other and dive for cover. When you move troops you can make the move against or behind walls and even jump over them to take cover the other side. Great stuff highly recommend you try the demo.

i got stuck on the demo my tank ran out of fuel and it all went downhill from there.. after about 3 tanks came along i just gave up i think i was running it in 1600x1200x32 with my gf4, which struggled a bit when lotsa stuff was going on (namely my units all dying..) but its still pretty cool, might get the full game when its released

Just make use of the bazooka packed away in the ammo crates and the heavy duty armour grenades. Once the first wave is repelled get a single bazakooa guy to run into the town and hide down the side of hte building where the tanks pass. Then get another man to mine the road and once the tanks comes you'll be able to take one out from behind with a bazooka - leg it behind the buildings - when the other tank stops looking for you he'll come back round over the mines.

The first time I used the bazooka was rather funny, I shot a panzer and it only disabled the tracks so it turn on my man and started shooting hte building down in front of him, fantastic stuff watching him leg it and all the rubble coming down from the angry panzer.

    Terrific game.

The molotov cocktails are pretty good at emptying tanks of their people, a good lob at the turret spews burning soldiers. Still cant complete the demo level though

Will download this later looks good. Are the troops semi intelligent, or do they just stand around getting killed when the sticky stuff hits the fan?

I don't think AI is homed to perfection in the game but the troops do perform well, you can set them to hold, return fire or fire at will. I've seen a few guys head away from enemys when overwhelmed only to turn around after I've furiously clicked thrown grenade, hehe.

Its hard to tell with a demo but they seem to act ok, troops don't just stand around admiring the view whilst a german troop carrier rolls past full of nazi's. Same with taking cover behind walls as appossed to just standing in the middle of the road, the movement feature is cracking where you can butt them up against walls, rocks, doors bushes whatever! Because its true line of sight it all works very well, even crouching in a bush makes most enemy AI just run past you...
