Not at all happy, posties been and no game

Looking on their net it seems a lot of people are in the same boat, shipped confirmations and no game.

I am assuming this is Game, Amazon or ShopTo.net as they are all as bad as each other for missing pre-order dates on deliveries.

Yer Game, not helped by the fact their website is undergoing a revamp on the biggest game launch of the year so can't even access my account or tracking. Not a happy bunny, still like a boxed retail copy myself not into the whole digital download quite yet.

I am running it in 1920x1080 with everything on maximum and DX11 and its sweet. Very good looking game if you have the hardware to run it in all its glory.

Game itself is excellent. Done the first section, no takedowns in it, just done the cover and move then shoot them in the head. I like the way they start searching for you in the direction the shot came from.

Started first mission and it is really cool
OK Ive brought it, so it better be good

Pretty much all PC is digital download for me these days. The likes of Battlefield and Modern Warfare/CoD are retail as I will buy the cheapest version I can find then stick the cd keys into steam/origin and download them the next time I rebuild

Only reason these two games go retail is I refuse to pay the £35- £40 digital download price tags, I can normally find a retail pre-order deal around £20 - £25

Same here mate. Absolutely gutted - wish I'd just got it through Steam now tbh. Having to sit back and watch the console crowd go on about this 'new game' is horrible... Been waiting around ten years for this! I was going home from work early but now I'm staying with a foul face!

Its not modern warfare 3 and requires some thought, was gonna be the initial reaction tbh lol. Hardly touch the PS3 these days and if I do its to play PS1 and PS2 games like FM3 and Final Fantasy 10.

Wonder were Game have gone wrong then if they was posted on Saturday.

For people wanting to get an understanding of what it's like to play the game, this video sums it up perfectly:

*Spoiler alert* the video does contain some early set pieces

    Re: Deus Ex: Human Revolution

I'm currently in China. Looks like Bladerunner!

First boss was tough, figured a way to sort him out though and it was pretty easy to do.

When you get to China, near where you start on street level on the left is a brothel. Head all the way up the stairs to top floor and a woman will tell you about some people fighting and she cant get her bag back. Head in and the woman in there will give you a few side quests. Malik will also give you a few side quests about a friend, make sure you have plenty hacking tools after you speak to someone called Lee, you need them for a hack after the conversation, your level needs to be upgraded to 3 also.

Few decent individual story arcs in China (was a few decent ones in Detroit also but I feel China is better)

Managed to find a few ways through to restricted areas also now in China making life a little easier, especially the cordoned off area.

Clocked up nearly 12 hours so far and it still feels like I have only scratched the surface. Next main mission is going after a hacker.

Loving the game, just far to many bugs though, the random lock ups when you get to a cut scene is getting annoying, I have to save the game all the time before I go into the major missions. Will be a great game once they patch a few things

    Re: Deus Ex: Human Revolution

Add me to the list of loving it

Got a good 12h in yesterday.. only had one cut-scene lock up so far, but the whole game plays well, blending the action and stealth..

Only annoyance is when in cover theres no way to "stick head round corner and aim"

    Re: Deus Ex: Human Revolution

Eh? continue holding right mouse button and press hold A or D and you stick out, press middle mouse and scope works as well, think it really only works well with lasers.

Also enjoying the game, took me long enough just to do the first mission by tranq darting everyone

Only think I'm not loving is the inventory, the fact you have to upgrade it, I hate leaving things behind lol, got the augmented edition so started with 2 extra guns in my inv so no space left.
