FYI there have been lots of people getting gpf errors after installing this patch, the only realy way to fix is a complete ut2004 reinstall without the patch afterwards.. just to warn you..

Its almost certain its errors in peoples systems though, be it memory or CPU.
If you check out the offical forums, you'll see a lot of GPF threads. These go (usualy) one of 3 ways.

    1) They download memtest and a few other apps, find out there is a problem with there system, sort it, and no more GPFs.

    2) They contend about how l33t their system is, and its a game problem. A week later, they post saying new RAM (or whatever part it was) solved their problem.

    3) They dont bother to try and find their problem, and argue that its a game problem. Irrelivent that people with the same hardware and drivers suffer no problems. They continue to spam the forum with the same thread every week and "omg epic plz fix" messages.

I think their is one GPF that looks like it might not be hardware related (Kintersect), which should be fixed in the next patch knowing Epic (If it is software related).

I use the 04 demo as my stability test. I overclocked a system not too long back that would pass memtest and prime without any problems. Load up UT04 though and it would crash in under 20 mins.
Backed off on the overclock, and all was fine
People dont realise how stressfull this game really is.

I'm finding this out myself I can run and complete 3d 01,3d03 and aquamark play BF1942 24/7 @11x218 fsb but UT2k4 and Far Cry crash after about 15 mins of playing.Once i go down to 210 fsb it'll play all day.My temps soar as well tho!!
