Half Life 2 (Yet Again !!)

Just browsing a few of the online stores I frequent, Play is showing it as September release date still.

However, I headed over to HMV online and noticed they are showing a 30th July release date (Previously it had September on there also)

    http://www2.hmv.co.uk/hmvweb/display...0;-1&sku=99336

If this is right it will put it at the forefront of the upcoming shooters as Doom 3 and Stalker are still showing as September. Another thing I like about HMV is that 99% of the time they are correct with the release dates.

When Mafia was released loads of places were up in the air with its release date as it was put back by a month. However, HMV had the correct release date from day one.

Surely they are actually going to release the game this summer. The anticipation is... uncomfortable

I want to know how well the game shapes up, having seen the latest e3 vid's i am quite excited.

Lastest I've heard is an end of July release so it may well be right.

Not if it's one of them double sided DVDs, could be crammed with goodies. Hope it is right, the waiting is starting to get painful now. Not much longer anymore we hopes

Looking forward to HL2 being released, and playing through HL with the HL2 source engine, or whatever funky crazy stuff that they have done.

However, i was quite amazed by the graphics on the first video of HL2 that i watched i was blown away by, however now...having watched the 2nd video from e3 2004 i dont think they are going to be anything special.

Looking forward to see how good the AI/story is....think Doom3 will be much better graphics wise.

    blockers is right
i was watching the first e3 vid
even on that when gordan walks past some tufts of grass the grass sorta spins to stop it from going invisible, its like a 2d model!!
i thougt that was kinda sh**e, lazy valve model makers!
also the zombies look poorly created there intestines look like pieces of paper protruding from there stomachs!
oh well i suppose the worse we imagine it will be the better it will be, hopefully?
    *fingers crossed*
