Yeah, its crashing a lot on minealso, got it delivered this afternoon. Has a nasty habit of doing it on a blank screen after the autosave when going to the garage or trailer, the little logo in top left corner just stops and have to open task manager to stop it. Also had a few exe file stopped working and crash to desktop, putting it on the back burner until they get it fixed.

i tried the 285.27 beta nvidia drivers and touch wood no crash since.

I like the DRS and kers they are pretty good fun i tested out drs in a few high speed corners and the car becomes super sketchy and spins

Even funnier for a spin on a wet track, China was really difficult for that one, Hamilton winged my rear tyre and caused me to spin while I was taking a corner at high speed.

Will try those drivers later tonight, see if it works for me, hope so

i've had on crash since the driver change. first race i was really annoyed it was set to 3 lap race. Nice addition for someone that wants a quick blast but i was expecting more so finished the race too quick. Changed it for kuala lumpar.

found free practice difficult there are some fast sweeping corners and found with DRS open a couple tightened up and it went flying round and round. I like the whistling effect noise you get when drs is open very cool. Not quite got my driving force gt setup right yet saturation zones were all wrong as standard sorted steering need to sort out pedals now

Re: F1 2011 pc Yay it keeps Crashing

I've just tinkered with the fins at the minute. Presently have front and rear set to 7 as it gives me better control round fast corners I have found, either that or its just the way I tend to drive on racers. I normally go for the arcadey type stuff like NFS.

Over this weekend going to give it a good blast and start tinkering with the car settings

Well, as the first game was sooo easy, just turned everything up to hard and gave it a go. Much, much harder than the first game. Which is much better.
Not had any 'crashes' as yet, but one thing that's really got me baffled is that i just did a quick race at spa and left the defualt setup on hard as Rosberg and couldn't take Eau Rouge flat out. Just not right

Re: F1 2011 pc Yay it keeps Crashing

Pressing enter on the keyboard when first entering the game wipes your controller setup i passed an R&D task in practice and got no upgrade.
But the AI and handling seem much better than last year.
Just a bit of a shame as i recall the R&D bug being in 2010 too.

Is it worth getting? Been watching it since before release but these comments just make me want to hold off even more. Suppose I could just get it for X-box/PS3 but then I'd need one of those consoles...

I've not had a problem with crashing, and am finding the game much better than the origional.

Crashing is a bit of a problem with this game though if you look round the forums, just have to buy it and see. But the fix should just be a patch or 2 away.

I think I'll wait for the patch then before getting it. I'll get BF3/BFBC2 first and then get F1 2011 later in the year.

    Cheers.
