the new assault is ok (its the same as the original with ut 04 weapons)
The onslaught is basically you and however many other people against hordes of unreal aliens, it can be pretty fun at times, especially with insta gib on.
On the other hand BF1942 is probably the best FPS/Vehicular Based co op game around. It's got some ok objectives and can give you some good stories to talk about. If you install the mod Desert Combat is also becomes very very fun.
Haven't tried the Raven Shield co op so i can't comment.

Judge Dredd and Project Eden have online co op modes where you can play through the entire game with another person from wherever.

Only prob is that Project Eden is a bit of a nightmare to run on XP but it is well worth playing through

yeh me and blockers played serious sam on the hardest difficulty for an hour or too once, its not any trickier than easy just about 100x the amount of enemies so it takes that much longer to get past each level, LOL!

Raven sheild is by far one of the best games online imho and since it can be picked up for a mere £8 its a bargin too. Excellent coperative mission modes and the online setup is awsome, although you could complain there arn't enough levels but thats a minor complaint and its a game definatly worth having.

Bf1942's a great co-op if you're playing with a good bunch. UT2k4's Assualt could be worth a shot as well.

If you've got an Xbox... Halo.

If you've got an emulator... Contra 3
