    UT2004 single player - any good?

    Is UT2004 worth buying as a single-player game?

    Yep, its great. you may feel it's a bit like training for online play at first, but it reels you in. only problem is you don't get that "ahh..." feeling of satisfaction when you finish it because it doesnt have any form of cutscene or "WELL DONE!!" screen. Enough gamemodes, skins, mods and maps to keep you going until you've worn away your keyboard though, so go for it

    yeah, great, but make sure you've got it on a bot skill you find challenging, otherwise the 1on1 matches get a little lame, running around a huge map for 30mins not being able to find the damn enemy
    Pirates = Win.

    I'm ordering it today. What about Painkiller for an all-out fragfest? Anybody here played it? I heard the graphics are good.
