Eve Online on Sandy Bridge processor

Not sure if anyone here plays Eve Online, but would you know if you could run the game with just the inbuilt graphics card on the sandy bridge processors? Obviously it wont run, anywhere near to potential, but just wondering until i get enough money for a decent graphiocs card?

    Regards,

Eve Online is a Direct X 9 game, I should imagine that running it in lower resolution and low - medium settings you should be able to play it until you can get yourself a dedicated GPU.

Those are the official specs for the game, minimum requires a Geforce 7300 series card which is a pretty basic card now and was low end at time of release a few years ago.

If you want to get an IGP to play games then Llano is the best choice ATM.

An A4-3400 for around £50 has an IGP which is significantly faster than any Intel CPU under £100.

The A6-3500 for around £60 to £65 is even faster still and the A8-3870K for around £100 to £110 is around the speed of an HD5550 GDDR5 graphics card.
