    Cs go

What do people think of PC game and PS3 gamers being able to play together.
With Counterstike GO going to have mouse and keyboard support for PS3 it sounds like it will be a fair fight unless your using a controller.

Sounds like there may be a few easy kills for PC gamers (though knowing me i'd probably still get killed by the PS3ers). I don't know of anyone who uses a keyboard/mouse with the PS3, would be interesting to see though how different it is playing on the PS3 with a Keyboard/mouse to using a PC.

I think that since Valve actually know what they are doing they will balance it well so that PC and PS3 players will be even. Also the graphics should (hopefully) allow a PS3 to maintain 60fps to stay competitive. Should be interesting, and if it works would be great to see more games attempt this.

However the game itself is not looking so good if you believe Bit-Tech

    Re: Cs go

Yeah, PC gamers will have an advantage of PS3 gamers IMO. I assume there will be options to play with just PC or PS3 players instead of merging the two.

On a side note, any updates on the release of CS GO?

    Re: Cs go

Apparently there is no special match making, so if you're good with a controller you could very well be in a server full of people with mice and keyboards. Their logic being if you're good enough, you're good enough.

    Re: Cs go

i think that it is a nice idea, bringing to platforms together but i wouldn't have done it with an fps. as mouse and keyboard will have quicker reaction and higher accuracy.

You can almost imagine a resurgence in FPS games on the PC once all the console gamers realise!

    Re: Cs go

Anyway heard any more updates? I'm quite into CS and really want to check GO out. I hope there is an overall ranking system, might stop the pros screwing over the new guys all the time!

I have the beta.. it's a pretty crap game in my opinion. Very dumbed down feeling, hard to explain but it just doesn't feel right.

    Re: Cs go

Got some codes from eurogamer.. then they delayed the beta for code holders for a few months...
It will go open beta after this closed one though.

They haven't put in all the weapons in the beta yet and the only map is de_dust.. not very exciting or fun, you're not missing anything.

Thanks for the info, I guess I don't mind waiting really. I hope I'm not disappointed.
