Anyone played Joint Operations: Typhoon rising yet?

I've seen it on the shelves but haven't taken the plunge yet. After playing other dogs by the same house i.e. Delta Force. I'm not getting a warm fuzzy feeling about it. Is there anyone there who has played this and can give me some feedback?

    Ta.

There is a demo to download, I tried that. Was ok.... but I never liked their other titles and seemed more of the same to me.

Tried it, don't like it. its one of those demos that seems great for the first 20 mins, but then you realise that spawn/charge/die/spawn/charge/die etc is all there is to the game. Feels more like a mod than a full game to me tbh as bugs are rife.

quite liked the demo myself ,big map lots of people a few things that could be changed and may have been in the proper release, but id say its worth a pop as can be had for under £20

    £17.99 from play!

Ive played the demos and bought it and i love it. Guess you gotta like the other titles to really like it. It is very much like Blackhawk down but with vehicals and a bit more eye candy. But the new game type Advance and Secure is a blast, especially when you're with a good team.

I haveta say i loved all the Delta Force titles multi-player . However all of the titles Novalogic produce age very very badly, and now I think, I used to like these games?
To err is human. To really foul things up ... you need a computer.

This is a quality game. You gotta have it. Grafix arents great, but the gameplay is ool. Massive maps - all sorts of weapons and vehicles to use. SO many different playing styles - for example last nite I started one round of Team king of the hill as a sniper - got myself dropped of ontop of a hill overlookin the enemis base, and capped ****in loads of em as they wandered out. But needed to switch from sniper part way through to go and protect our psp. Its cool. You will get addicted, and hell, 150 players in one game rules. Only problem I found is getting in a vehicle to get back to the action, and the person drives is like that maureen from driving school - pisses me right of. Apart from that its sweet.

When I played the demo (admitedly for only a short time) I thought that the vehicles were done so badly it put me off the whole game.

    DFBHD was ok though.
