Alien v. Predator

Does anyone have any experience of Alien v. Predator causing a pc to run slow?

The system runs on XP, has 512 meg of Ram and a Geforce4 card with 64Mb

It causes your PC to run slow? What, are you trying to write a Word Document while it's running? Or do you mean its resource intensive? Or is your PC sluggish after exiting the game? You get a low number of Frames Per Second?

It is very resource intensive, 98-99% CPU, no other progs are running, also runs the game slow - low number of frames per second. It is not active after exiting the game because you have to kill the process to do so.

Hms, sounds strange! My computer made something similar..it stared to run 98-99% CPU, just when I opened a word pad document . Well, what I did was to re-install windows, though I don't know if you need to do that..but it sounds strange..
