Fez is breaking my fragile little mind...

I love the throwback 8-bit style, I love the twist on 2D platforming in what's really a 3D world but this game has so much going on behind the scenes I'm beginning to wonder if the creator didn't watch a bit too much Lost in his time...

Cyphers, code breaking, binary codes, hidden languages; I've never played anything like it. At one point I had to get out my mobile phone to solve a puzzle and that was one of the easier ones!

Is anyone else lost in it's depths like I am?

It's hard going at times, but I think I might be in love

I've been sucked in too. Spent most of last night exploring. I suspect some of it may be beyond me but we'll see how far I get.

Looking at the lengths the community have gone to in articles like this I suspect much of the "game within the game" will go over my head as well, I'm determined to steer clear of as many FAQ's as possible and work it out for myself though. Rarely do you see a triple A release with this kind of depth, let alone an arcade title.

I bought this the other night and played the first level. Looks amazing! Haven't really been able to concentrate on it for too long due to my addiction to APB: Reloaded but really does look interesting.

I doubt it will happen, from memory it has taken the one guy making it over 5 years to get it out on the 360 so a PC release might never happen, especially as he just came out in an interview stating he hates working on his own now xD

Fez is one of the games focused on in Indie Game: The Movie

If you're into gaming at all, especially indie gaming, or if you're hoping to get into game development, then that is well worth a watch!

This is such a good film and a great game Just wish I could focus more on it what with the Steam sales.. PC takes president.

Re: Fez is breaking my fragile little mind...

This game is truly stunning. For those that don't buy games becuase it xbla or doesn't have multiplayer, are missing out on an amazing experience. Don't forget you can acquire the trial and have a little experience before dishing out the cash (or points in this case).

I too was getting brain ache from some of the puzzles, but I found out that some of them can only be completed in New Game +. However, this game being like it is, it doesn't tell you which puzzles these are.

I've simply been playing through as much as I can, knowing that if something is a little tricky now it must be completeable when I NG+ it.
