/me goes and cries in the corner
Have had it on pre-order for a while now and will be ordering a 9800 PRO.....proberbly the Hercules one, about 5 days before it's out
Martin, the 9800 PRO will be needed to run it in full spanking glory, I am sure it will run fine on a lot lower spec system with the detail turned down. We all know it's gonna be a great game, and at the end of the day I prefer gameplay over eye candy.

I'm expecting it to work with my Geforce4MX, albeit at not highest resolutions.

What;s wrong with having the money to be able to spend a decent GFX card? Do I not enjoy games as much as someone who can only afford an MX card?Originally posted by steve threlfall

I'm going to be purchasing a 9600Pro or a 9700 (possibly pro) sometime soon anyway hopefully. Once I gain the cash. Lol.

Just ordered the 9600 Pro card this morning, should look pretty good on that I hope. In a few of this months PC mags they have been saying October release. Just have to wait and see.
Doom 3 however isn't going to reach us till 1st quarter next year now though
Yep, doom 3 is March release from what they are saying atm.
