That really would be fantastic, maybe on the Skyrim engine.

A version of the original sega rally on Xbox arcade would be good. So wod an update to demolition derby and carmeggedon.

An elite/frontier sequel is already on the way but how about an update to something like cannon fodder or commandoes?

Another game would be where you play a shoot em up but if you get killed you get to come back as a ghost/demon and haunt your killer until they lost their sanity!

Anything on the consumer version of the Oculus Rift when it gets released that's been optimised for it.

Someone recently made a trailer for an old side-scroller type game based on Drive. I wish someone would make that happen. Or at least re-work the soundtrack.

That'll be because there's very few good tie in games to start with.

I hope he meant Third person shooter as a second person story is a story told AT the reader as a character.
Which would make a second person game a game that plays you.

Yep I do, I would of loved to play that game but Atari never released one, they did it prototyped, but as an arcade machine to run it was too expensive at the time and their consoles at the time couldn't cope with it.

Later there was a game called "last starfighter" on the NES but that was actually just a port of Uridium

Just checked wikipedia apparently a freeware version made in 2007 for the pc http://www.roguesynapse.com/games/last_starfighter.php

Love it that they actually tried to make the game. Why on earth not release it at Arcades?

Other "2nd person" games can be found in such good (ahem) films as Jumanji, the first Harry Potter, the Cube... not to mention in the literature of Lewis Carroll. Not sure it's really the kind of thing that can be released in reality though... mind you the number of people I see obsessively playing really crap bejewelled games on the tube - I wonder if there isn't some sort of brain-hijacking going on turning the players into slaves to the game.
