nah keep the credit haha your much more respected, you have an avatar! (man i need one of these babies)
but just on another note there are bout 5 or six different variants of the hl2 set
1. singleplayer hl2 only (for cheap student geysers)
2. SP and MP hl2 (for peeps who jsut want the game)
3.SP and MP and hl source (for peeps who want extra)
4 Sp and MP and hl source and cs source (for small time hl and cs fanboys) *modding kit*
5. SP, MP hl source cs source tfc source DOD source (mabye dod i dunno) 'this set is for those crazy ass mofos, itll cost like 50 bulls squids or somehting ludicrous and be packed in something you could bury your grand parents in' also contains bonus stuff like SDK and modding stuff
of course you will be able to buy cs source tfc source etc separatly (download or buy)
this is what i got off a one page hl2 website a while back so dont believe it all, but i reckon the releases will be along these lines
i know which one ill be buying..do you?
no :/
I hope this isnt the case and they are actually just releasing one version. If this is the case, I am not impressed, they are scrooge like.
what? all that extra stuff? why wouldnt you want that?
if you dont want it just get the set to suit your needs?

As far as I know this doesn't apply to europe.Originally Posted by Pete
hmm i dunno why it wouldnt?
surely vivendi/valve has a european base? hl2 is based in prague/budapest type city?
this would be gay if they dont ship the 50 quid pack in england!?
This would be great I can't get Half Life to work under XP at allOriginally Posted by Raz316
Sorry, I meant, selling multiplayer these days as an extra is a bit tight. The source stuff sounds goodOriginally Posted by Pete
Looking forward to trying CS: source tomorrow
Quake 2 on the Doom 3 engine would be great, since I can't get Quake 2 to run properly anymore
