you either need an ATI HL2 voucher or CS:CZ

so basically the HL2 voucher as i doubt many ppl on here are stupid enough to buy CZ unless its just for the beta ofc

even then its only supposed to be a 2-4 week beta from what I have heard...still £12 is worth it i guess

Well Fu*k that anyway. I downlaod all i need now it says the f**king game is unavailble! Please try another time. SO i spend £400 on a graphics card and get a voucher that tells me this p*ss!!! STeam and half-life are and always will be joke to everyone. THey cant do anything rite.

Well u would have thought valve would have known this and catered for it. like is aid. ive downlaoded all the needed files. the game jsut wont start now. which defeated the purpose of downloading the files if i cant use them.

Mine's updating, i had pre-loaded CS:S but I just started steam up and it's been scanning for the past 10 minutes so i'm going to leave it do its business

CS:S is live in the games list though

Yea KeZZer its the same here. mine loaded for about 30 mins like urs is now. then after when i said play game it sayed game was unavailable. so if urs workstell me. but i think urs will bbe same as mine. its funny lol if steam cant handle select ppl over the world for cs source. how do they expect to hold the servers while ppl get half - life 2 :S

Apparently if you try to play the game when it's meant to be updating it screws it over so don't do it. I don't know what the side-effect is though. Mine's updating now it's at 79% so we'll see

Played it. ITs ok but CT weapons are > T's again
recoil on ak is just a joke.

GFX sweet but it'll take a beefy system to run

I dropped most details and still dropped to 8 fps on a gf4 ti4200 at 800*600 in fire fight
Think its the P3 1Ghz cpu thats not helping though thankfully works ordered me a new box with a p4 3Ghz cpu now.

I get an average of 72fps but i'm at 1280x1024 so i'd get 90 or so in 1024x768

played it for 15mins now but got to go make food, will report back later after a few hrs of playing it

but initial impressions are good, default res is way too low so gonna max out the gfx later and see how it runs.

like the new weapon models, and the new flash effect they stil have the 1.6 buy menu tho with a wierd order, i'm used to 1.5s tho i'll only be playing source for a few weeks now so that aint a prob
