Looking for a new game to play!!

hey guys! Well the games I have now are either beat, bored to death off of or just have gotten old. What i'm trying to do is find a game that can keep me busy for a long time and is really. I really like RPG's and I was thinking about getting icewind dale 2 or something because I really liked the baldurs gate series. I really really loved battlefield 1942 because of the planes and online play etc. If you guys think you could give me ideas of games to get soon that would be really cool!

    Thanks!

If you loved BF1942 it may be worth looking into the add-on packs like vietnam, Operation flashpoint may also be worth a look as like bf1942 it allows you to take the vehicles for a spin aswell as the standard combat.

Joint Operations Typhoon Rising - Helicopters/Trucks/Boats, very large maps, 150 man servers, teamwork essential. Got me hooked and I have been a regular BF1942/Vietnam player for some time.

Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic is an amazing game and it looks gorgeous too. I have just started playing it again after a break which involved Farcry and Doom 3, but this game is better than those. It has lots of depth and one hell of a storyline, I am currently on Tatooine taking in its sandy delights.

Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic was on my list of games to get. Dungeon siege I had and beat in like 1-2 weeks lol (online play was all messed up... Maybe would work now?) Neverwinter nights I had to, but I never though it had that much value. It was way gorgeous and good looking. But I always felt like it was cheeting when all you can do is make a one room map and put like the best stuff in there then try that made map and just pick up all the stuff with your char and he's invincible (then all that stuff stays on him when you go to online play. Or thats how it always was when I played online).

Strange you should mention it, I've just started playing in again! I agree, its easy to pick up and can be quite challenging. The only problems are the storyline (which is virtuall non-existant) and the game can get a bit repetitive, just clicking on the enemies and waiting for your party to kill them. Of course, if you play it on harder difficulties then you start having to use tactics, and manage what all your people are doing carefully. Great game, and the expansion pack comes with the original as well.

The other RPG is Morrowind, which should last quite a while. It is probably one of the best games I've ever played, with loads to do and great gameplay. There're so many side quests in it, that I haven't even touched the main storyline, and I've had it since Christmas last year - that's how big the game is.

Another vote for Neverwinter Nights and Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. Two top quality RPGs that will keep you entertained for hours. NWN also has loads of user designed modules available, great multiplayer, etc.

Planescape Torment is ace. IWD 2 I wasnt really sure of...it's ok, but nothing special IMO, it doesn't really improve much on the original (and is nowhere near as good as Baldur's Gate 2).

Mike's right about Morrowind; if you can get into it, it's absolutely vast, and should take you ages to complete.
