i played for an hour last night so my initial decent german stage time is 3.13 but i wont be beaten! I made a mistake going wide on a 3 left that popped up after a ridge, flew over a ditch and skewed accross a field, so thats my excuse

cars handle nice, but the graphics are not final build clearly, ran fantastically on full everything at 1024 768 but was a little sluggish at 1280. Running an XP2100 with geforce 4, 512meg 2700 ddr... and crappy old ms ff wheel that ms have stopped supporting (grrrrr )

the quick snap on the steering is great on tarmac but do you not find that the back end comes out too quick on mud especially for those of us who drive the proper way - in side the car.

grrrrrrrr couldnt use my wheel as every time i tried to calibrate it in game the effing thing CTD'd on me, so i had to use my keyboard

anyways i did a 3.17, but it was cack as i was understeering everywhere. me try again later

I wasn't for a while, coz i received my Toca Race Driver 2. And now have the disadvantage of being unable to use my legs after an airsoft session involving running up and down a steep hill for 7 hours. But i might have another go soon.

It's not as good as the Xpand Rally multiplayer demo that's on fileshack.com. The handling in Colin 5 isn't really that great (maybe because I'm using a keyboard). But, I could drive pretty well with Xpand and the damage is amazing as well as the realistic engine and exhaust sounds.

done a 2.53, i am going to uninstall now tho as i have seen enuf - probably gonna get TRD2 and RBR and see how i get on.

I am sure once Colin 2005 is finished it will be a real nice psuedo sim for the masses, it is a lot of fun getting used to the nicely balanced handling model but once you do you quickly learn how to manipulate its flaws. I am certain that they will improve the graphics.
