Just downloaded and played all 3 tracks, The Graphics seem really washed out. Also the cars handle strange compared to Colin McRae 04Originally Posted by Purple

Runs smoother than the cmr4 demo at 1024x768 2AA on 9800np/3200+ so that's an improvement 65-85 FPS. UK showing gaps between textures as very thin white lines or lines of white dots spoil this course. Not washed out just blurred effect applied to background scenery which sort of works to draw focus to the foreground and give a sense of distance/perspective although perhaps a bit heavy handed. German stage 1 is a good fun with a variety of road surfaces and road widths.
Been playing this a little today, I quite like it - the GFX dont seem very good and it runs better than CMR4 does on my PC flat out (although CMR4 looks better so I presume this isn't final quality). I think its kind of strange the only WRC car you can have is one that isn't even used anymore in WRC, (still think that was a stupid move by Pug to use the 307). Looks to be a good game, even if it does seem identicle to the last two, lol.

i still havent managed to play it, been v busy at work.
Had a go - its not amazing but seems quite good, nice steering responces, cars look quite nice. Scenery is ok, although can look a bit funny in places. I was looking to see if it gives an atmosphere as good as Mobil1 Rally Championship did but so far it doesn't. Still ok though.
Tough on mirrors, tough on the causes of mirrors.
I thought the cars looked fantastic but the scenery is very bland with poor textures, a very obvious PS2 port.
I did not like not being able to type in my name. Having an onscreen keyboard is great, but i have a proper one in front of me so using cursor key is REALLY annoying.

How about a best time competition for the 3 tracks? I was mainly racing german so lets start there. I'll post my times when i get home.
Oh, and btw, 206s still take part in the hands of independent teams, so its alright to have it. Not sure if they will have 307 as well but am not too bothered.

I'll download it and assuming it'll run on my POS system I'll post my time by Monday hopefully
Let's just assume it didn't then. ^_^
Anyone else had a go? My new time for the german stage is 3:03.30
