Can't wait for the full version to come out. So far only been able to play the demo on my laptop and it struggles a bit but I can still see the excellent game underneath.Be able to play on my desktop when I get home after the weekend and try it out in all it's [demo] glory.

I was no good at Shogun so I gave it away....to my friend in Rugby, who is now unbelievably good.

Truly superb game,..just couldn't do it. Medieval appealed the most but I was crap at that too

Last game like this I was good at was 3dfx only...

    Myth, the Fallen Lords anyone?

Do you get any major slowdown with all the max options at those settings? I get rates as low as 20fps on occasion at those settings, and my rig is "supposedly" friggen "uber".

Hmm maybe a reformat is needed, I have had an ATI card on before this Nvidia...

Buy anyways, the game is great and I can't wait for the full thing. Hmm I think it will be a toss up for this game and LOTR - Battle For Middle Earth as far as best RTS of 2005 goes.

What is THAT!?!?!?!? /\ gimme gimme gimme. We want's it we do.

    Oh, pre-ordered RTW yesterday

I wonder if I'll be as crushingly effective as I was in the demo. Somehow I doubt it. Loved using the elephants to break up the cohesion of the attacking Romans even though the elephants routed the job was done. Then pinned with infantry, skirmishers to the flanks to keep the Roman skirmishers from settling and cavalry up the rear (gonna make yer eyes water that will). A serious shoeing was delivered to the legions of Rome

The demo is way too short. I can hardly wait for the release.

Battle for Middle-Earth looks good. Apparently it uses PS3.0 too, so it should look stunning on the new nVidia cards.
